Our Brand Philosophy

Picture
We believe that your brand, however you define it, is only as real and lasting as the experience your patients, visitors, physicians and others are having at this moment. Strong brands are more than clever, prolific names...they are real in every sense; based upon looking inside the organization first and then outside the organization to find the place in the market where who you are, what you do, and what you are known for align with who you want to be, who your market is looking for, and what you can deliver upon consistently over time. We believe that your brand position must reflect those elements that are valued by your audiences, in line with customer expectations, and offer differentiated reasons to try your organization.

We do more...

Mother's Day tributes...

My weekly newsletter went out this past Friday and I decided that instead of sharing interesting links, I'd write a tribute to the mothers in my life. Many of my subscribers shared their tributes in return.  Below are those loving words...     What a great time to sit back and think about all thingsMom. I begin by noting that we all have a Mother, or at least a mother figure in our lives. She may still be a part of your life or just a wonderful memory, but images of Mom come to each of us at this time. Many of you, like me, are mom's with empty nests...and better yet, Grandmothers. Some of you may be new moms. Some of you may want nothing more than to be a mom. In any case, we take time each second Sunday in May to salute those we love and admire.
First, to the Grandmother's I was fortunate to have in my life...I was blessed to have my Great Grandmother Loie in my life until I was nearly 18.  They say I resemble her most, physically...I just hope her grace, sense of style, and passion for family are also visible in me.  My Grandmother Rena taught me to laugh every chance I got, and to never take my parents or set backs too seriously...she never meant disrespect, but I was a serious child, easily wounded....her words gave me courage to see the lessons and not feel insecure.  My husband's grandmother left us just last summer...In the ten years she was a part of my life, she gave me and all of the grandchildren in her life a reassurance that women can and should do anything...a gift I intend to pass along to my granddaughters.
My mother, Dolores, has given me the gift of unqualified love. She taught me early how to balance home, career and family, especially when life felt its most out of balance. She has always been my biggest fan...and my best sounding board. But mostly, she taught me about being a grandmother. When my life was overwhelming me, she gave me a safe and secure respit. And she always stood ready to be there for my children. My Mother-in-law, Anne, has a special gift...she teaches us over and over again to remember our roots. She's our geneologist, historian, and keeper of the memories. She inspires me to learn more about those that went before.
Which takes me to my role as a mom...blessed beyond words with two amazing children...I struggled to be a good single mom, finish my education, launch a career, and find myself. How lucky was I that these two talented, loving, and generous children would turn out to be my rock? And so they are today.  They have given me perhaps the most wonderful role of all....Grandmother.
So as I watch the beautiful mother my daughter has become, admire the commitment to motherhood my daughter-in-law has, and bask in the love and energy of my seven granddaughters, I want to take this moment to wish every mother out there, and every one with a mother, a full and blessed Mother's day.  -by Candace Quinn

My Mother is my hero.  Growing up with my two brothers, she was there at every turn.  Made every breakfast.  Packed every lunch.  Didn’t miss a program or sporting event.  Held down the fort with two babies when my dad was gone for a year as an Air Force pilot in Viet Nam.  Was the consummate “military wife” that allowed him to rise to the ranks of Colonel before joining the civilian world.  Through it all she showed us what it was like to work hard and put others first.  She made sure we had a religious upbringing to guide us – making sure we all had our first communions, our confirmations and regular church attendance in spite of everyone’s schedules.   And she did it all with a smile as if she had the best job in the world.

Even after we grew up and left the nest, she made us feel like the most important people in the world.  When my brother followed in my dad’s footsteps and was called up to serve in Desert Storm as a pilot, she held not only our family together, but his as his new wife had their first baby in his absence.  And it was her that gave me the strength to get out of an abusive marriage and take care of my three children all on my own.  It was her belief in me that gave me the confidence to do what I needed to do for my family.  She has always had an uncanny way of knowing when something was “wrong” with one of her three kids even though we didn’t live nearby.
I think she is the strongest woman in the world.  If I can be a fraction of the mother and grandmother that she is I will have lived a complete life.
Thanks, Mom…-Tamalyn Powell

May God bless all the Mom's of the world, mine is gone, but always loved and never forgotten. -Peter Savenko

My mom was the greatest - unconditional love personified.  May she rest in God's peace; she died in 2008 at 97. --Reverend Michael J. Mandala,SJ

I love that I have my mom's support with whatever I do in life, even when it doesn't seem logical. --Sam DeReign
